Submissions for Solo Dance Contest 2026 are now open!
🟢 The competition is open to all professional dancers aged 18+ from Poland and abroad.
🟢 The contest will be held as part of the main programme of the 18th Gdańsk Dance Festival (14–17 September 2026). Artists selected for the competition will have the opportunity to present their work to an international jury and compete for prizes with a total value of EUR 6,000 💵
🟢 During this year’s edition, the Solo Dance Contest Poland national qualifiers will take place for the second time. For the qualifiers, scheduled for 18–19 April, up to 12 solo performances by artists from Poland will be selected and presented to the audience and a panel of experts. From these works, the preselection jury will choose at least 5 artists who will qualify for the main competition.
